I heard from Jeff Russell a while back. He's up to some interesting stuff. Check this out:

You also asked about dance medicine..... my original academic background is sports medicine. So, a few years ago when I was teaching at a university in Mississippi I started a programme to take care of the huge number of injuries in the dance students (they have a lot more injuries than athletes). From there I decided to get a PhD in the field, and the university in England where I'm at (U. of Wolverhampton, northwest of
Birmingham) is the only one in the world where you can get a PhD in this field. I'm studying the anatomy and biomechanics of the ankle in ballet.

Well, a few of us were thinking after the reunion. I know, thinking at our age can some times get us in trouble. But instead of waiting another 10 years to get together again, we should plan some thing for our 50 birthday. Yes most of us will turn 50 in the same year! Let's have a 50th birthday party. So far we have one good idea. Lets all go on a cruise. if anyone is interested let me know. Or if you have a another idea of how we can spend our birthday, I am open to suggestions. Other ideas have been snow skiing, camping, beach weekend. I would love to know how many of you would join in something like this.

your can email me at Sigmacat@aol.com

waiting to hear from you

Cathy - Good to see your post in my email inbox this a.m. I'll start a new post to discuss 50th party planning at the top level.

Another reunion idea is to join the class prior to ours who already has scheduled a 50th bday party the weekend after Labor Day at the fairgrounds in Riverton. My sister is referring to it as "Riverstock." ;-)
