Blog News
Hi -
I have been pretty busy settling into a new place since the reunion and still have more photos to post to this blog - and plenty more to integrate into the class slideshow we compiled for the 30th reunion. Rob S just sent along some additional great ones from the reunion which I'll post here in the next few days. Thanks, Rob! And thanks again, Hannah, for the 8th grade class shots. Terri - I ended up taking your photo albums with me and hope to finish scanning them this weekend. I'll post a few flashbacks from that set as well (and will return to CT in the next weeks with your albums). Pretty funny, some! ;-)
Anyone out there with webpage development experience want to help get a simple class website up and running? I'm envisioning a section where people can update their contact info, a link to this blog, a photo gallery, and a space for the kind of social networking that Marty T has begun to foster through the collection of interest info. The class behind us has limited access to their website (password required) which might make people feel more comfortable about participating. What do you think??? Any and all thoughts and offers of assistance very welcome!
Before our memories fade, we also should try to capture all the contact-related info we learned at the reunion. Is Marty the new keeper of the master class list at this point? Maybe before too much time passes, some of us in and close to CT should get together to cahoot on strategies for tracking down missing classmates. Donna B - did you say you were up for helping with this?
Back to work here. Hope to see more comments and interaction on this blog. I'm still waiting for others to post at the top level. ;-) Anyone interested in being a blogger (able to post at the top level), please e-mail me at nancys99@gmail.com or comment here and I'll help you figure out what to do next! ;-)
Enjoy!

More pics from LaTrat

THANKS One More Time!!!
Okay. Sorry for the delay in posting a report and pictures of Saturday p.m. reunion festivities. I just got back to Vermont. As mentioned in my last post, I have quite a few photos to work with and am still trying to figure out what the best way to present them might be. Of course, I'll add most of them to the slideshow I am compiling but what to do, what to do here on the blog? ;-)
For now, let me get started with a few. First of all, here's a pic of our Hosts with the Most, Liz and Dennis, who so graciously opened their home for the Friday 2-2 party then for the Saturday cocktail hour and then invited everyone over after the dinner at LaTrat for more party action that lasted into the wee hours of the morning. In fact, Liz and I finally packed it in when the coffee pot came on just before 4 this a.m. These pics were taken before we headed over to LaTrat.
I'd also like to once again thank Cathie for her efforts leading up to the reunion. Living in Florida, she did her best to motivate the rest of us to get moving on mailing list development and then got to Canton early in the week to help Liz prepare for the onslaught of former classmates about to hit town. Thanks, Cathie, for your quiet diplomacy and behind-the-scenes efforts. (That's Rob S and Terri in the pic with Cathie.)

Live from LaTrat
Hi, all -
As I speak, classmates and a limited number of significant others are milling about and some are opting to leave. Looks like we may make our way back to Liz's to carry on...
Right next to me is Bill Ahlers and Alane who stopped by to say "good-bye" to me and Mary McGarr. Thought you all might be interested in a pic of their kids, Will and Devon. (After fact, am adding a pic of Alane and Bill here as well. Amazing resemblances. ;-)
Lots of us have been taking pictures and for sure, I will be posting pics of the festivities at LaTrat.
Brad wants my computer now...more later...
