Brad got us started by telling us how he and Jimmy Dutton had gotten a whole tree on fire in the middle of the woods up on Trailsend Drive. Real panic there!
Robert told us about how he had hung for a lark over the railing of the Route 202 Neapaug bridge during cross-country practice. He told also of the unplanned consequence of coach Tom Kulak's immediate hysteria over witnessing from a distance the unfolding of the prank.
I believe that Wade was next, but I don't remember the story. Sorry; maybe I was still collecting myself. But yes, Wade has gotten real tall. How has this happened?!
Bettsy told us about how she and another classmate (who was it again?) got dressed up as cowboys in full regalia during the middle of the night. Then the idea struck to go down and lay on Route 44 in order to suprise some unsuspecting motorists. You bet they did!
David finished us off by recalling how on a night out quaffing and cruising with good friends, he had just turned around to face the pursuasive yet reassuring voice of a .... police officer(!!) while still urinating off the side of the road. The cop was merciful, and he set them free, ordered and able to return one more time to their families.
Wade's story was about kicking in the lower screen of the water fountains in the hall. They made the fans make awful noises which disturbed the classes but the pranksters were well onto other damage in the building.
THANKS to all who worked to pull off such a fun reunion!
Special shout-outs to Liz & Dennis for all they did in preparation for the gathering, throughout the reunion, and afterwards!
And to Lynn for her tireless efforts maintaining the list and handling the necessary financial transactions!
===================
If you took photos at the reunion, please share them with others either here or on Facebook. If you want someone else to upload them, please email nancys99@gmail.com or send your photos on a thumb drive or CD to Nancy at PO Box 463, Newfane, VT 05345.
Blog Purpose
This blog might serve as an online meeting place for members of the Canton High School Class of 1977 - and anyone who ever was in our class at any point in their elementary or secondary school years. We did a decent job of getting solid contact info for many more classmates this time around but still have a long list of folks to locate before our 40th reunion in 2017! Please let us know if you can help with this!!!! We'll post the latest 'missing' list soon.

Aren't we some fortunate people?
